Call for Papers

2023 International Conference on Open and Innovative Education

Dear Scholar/Researcher/Professor/Instructor,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we cordially invite you to attend and present a paper at the 2023 International Conference on Open and Innovative Education (ICOIE 2023). Organized by Hong Kong Metropolitan University through its Institute for Research in Open and Innovative Education, the conference will be held on 4–6 July 2023. ICOIE 2023 — the 10th of the annual conference series — will take place as a hybrid conference**. All participants may choose to attend the conference and present their papers physically at the conference venue in Hong Kong or virtually through our video conferencing system.**

Advancements and improvements through openness and innovation are major trends in contemporary education, influencing the whole spectrum of education institutions across the globe. Technological applications and tools are bringing about a paradigm shift in contemporary education. Modes of learning and teaching are becoming more open and innovative in terms of learning time/space, curriculum contents, organization, pedagogical methods, infrastructure and requirements. This trend is common in all types of institutions (including universities offering conventional, online and/or open courses). ICOIE 2023 will explore relevant key issues, with a special focus on the innovative pedagogical mode: agile-blended learning. The Symposium on Agile-Blended Learning will be held in parallel with the 1st and 2nd day of ICOIE 2023. Participants of ICOIE 2023 will automatically be eligible to attend all sessions of the symposium. No further registration is needed.
